modern man

keys, credit card, wallet, phone
mark the modern man
the ready coin, the watch, the rings
socks/shoes/belt/pants/shirt (tie?)
hairy crown, daily beard
go earn your daily bread
sun up, sun down replay rebound
the subway, ATM.
Red you stop
Green you go or go
you know you can
taxi wave, newspaper rave
billboards beat you down
neon glows ‘eat at joes’
coffee, ten per-cent
token swipe, a drink now gripe
the boss, the bitch , the wife
check-up soon, radio tune
reality show tonight
insert key and twist
door knob, mat, (the dog?)
knife and fork
beef or pork
deep green broccoli
dish in sink, stash and drain
Smoke or watch the game
“Long day, you?” “Long day, too.”
